Other Tab

Other Tab

The event can be fine-tuned in the Other tab. Let's get started!

Fields "Maximum number of participants per team” and" Minimum number of participants per team"

These fields specify the minimum and maximum number of participants in the team.

The number of participants in a team is affected by the setting "Maximum number of participants in a team". Setting up "Minimum number of participants in a team" is to inform the user about the minimum number of participants in the team in order to access the tasks. The minimum and maximum number of participants in a team is shown in the information section on the main page of the event.

"Publish rating" setting

This setting makes the rating public and hides or shows the “Rating” tab for participants in the event menu.

The organizer can view the rating on the “Statistics” page - by clicking the “Overall rating” tab.

"Publish solutions” setting

This setting allows participants to see all the solutions, “like” them, and comment on them.

This setting works only with the event type “Competition of projects”.

"Team moderation” setting

This setting allows teams to access tasks. If this setting is enabled, the team will not be able to proceed to solving tasks without being preliminary moderated by the organizer.

Teams are moderated on the “Statistics” page, in the tab “Teams” by clicking the “Actions” button.

"Limit task selection” setting

This setting is to limit the selection of tasks by teams (participants). If this setting is enabled, the team (participant) can only select one task and they will not be able to change their selection.

The participant will not be able to choose another task if the team has registered its settings and / or was moderated by the organizer.

"Fix team settings” setting

If enabled this setting allows the team captain to fix the team settings and composition, thus restricting other single participants to search for it and join it.

"Show the number of registered participants” setting

If enabled, this setting displays the number of participants on the main page of the event and on the event preview card in the list of all events.

Enable the setting, if you want to allow participants to invite other participants to join the team after registration ends.

Any participant can get an invitation link in the team preview card. If the team was formed and passed moderation, the participant will not be able to join the team using this link.

"Enable confirmation of participation" setting

This setting allows participants to confirm their participation in the event.

The organizer can send a request to confirm participation via the “Statistics” page by going to the tab “List of participants”, selecting a participant and clicking on the “Actions” button.

"Consider the time spent on the solution when forming the rating" setting

If enabled, this setting takes into account the time spent on the solution. If the number of scores for teams (participants) is the same, then the one who spent less time to complete the task will win.

“Team chooses the type of participation” setting

If enabled, this setting adds a field enabling teams to select the type of participation. The captain can choose the type of participation when creating or editing a team. The type of participation will be displayed on the team preview card.

This field is required when creating a team.
